Posvátným hadem je užovka. V souvislosti s tím zastává v haďanském náboženství významnou úlohu planeta Saturn, protože oblouky prstence viditelné po stranách kotoučku planety připomínají srpky po stranách hlavy užovky. Svátečním dnem haďanů je proto sobota, den zasvěcený Saturnu.

Početná obec věřících zastává názor, že haďanské obřady se nevylučuje s křesťanstvím. Podle nich je symbol Hada srovnatelný se symbolem Beránka.
